Parks and Recreation

Besides the Willamette River, and community parks, when visiting West Linn, you should stop and see the McLean House and Park, owned by the City of West Linn, is a historic home built by Dr. Edward McLean in 1927.

The Willamette Falls Locks, opened in 1873, are the oldest continuously operating multiple-life locks in the United States. The locks were listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Schools, Health, Transportation

Along with the four Elementary Schools, Middle School and West Linn High School, it is also home to Marylhurst University. Marylhurst University is a Catholic university that was founded in 1893. Today it provides quality and innovative educational experiences for individuals of many religious beliefs and backgrounds.
